Maui Pink Strain: This one is derived from seedlings provided in an exchange with cultivators of native plants on the island of Maui. Said to be from the slopes of Haleakala itself, maui pink’s leaves are thick and round. This strain is a lighter shade of green and has a pink, fuzzy appearance on it’s main veins. The tea produces a mild earthy brew with a lighter color.
